In The American Empire, Having Children Is A Crime Punishable By Debt Evoking Peonage

In addition to issues surrounding due process e.g. denunciation rule of one in rape allegations: the divorce settlements and legal proceedings surrounding these three individuals:

  • Hunter Biden, former businessman
  • Joshua Wright, former antitrust attorney
  • Sergey Brin, semi-retired tech entrepreneur

serve as recent reminders that in the American Empire, divorce and child support often are means of enslavement.

Per CNN, Hunter Biden fathered a child out of wedlock, for which he was charged $20,000 per month in child support. This, with no visitation rights. It might be that since he’s bankrupt, that his child support was reduced to something that accorded to the costs of raising a child, but we won’t know because that court settlement is not publicized.

Per the Wall Street Journal, Joshua Wright cheated on his spouse with several lovers. His divorce settlement was $35,000 in spousal and child support per month. One could consider that the wife were an employee and supported his highflying career in a way that could merit some partnership stake. However, after he lost his primary sources of income, the judge reduced his obligations to a mere $24,000 per month, to support his three children and former spouse.

Sergey Brin made the mistake of having a child with Nicole Shanahan. While it was reported that a $1 billion divorce settlement was requested, it’s not a matter of court record what she extracted from him, because the case was sealed. As such, we must consider that a large sum of money changed hands – certainly in the tens of millions. (One could argue this were a case of supporting Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s presidential campaign via the backdoor, since it seems that she contributed millions of dollars to that effort.)
